Welcome To The Third Act

Living your life forward.

You’ve done everything right.

Built the career. Raised the family. Hit the milestones. Solved the problems. Showed up every single day.

And now... something feels off.

Not burnout exactly. Not depression. Just... a flatness you can’t explain.

You hit a goal and think, “Now what?”

You check the box and feel... tired.

You look at the next 20 years and wonder if you’re supposed to just keep doing this.

Here’s what nobody told me: that feeling doesn’t mean something’s wrong with you. It means you’ve outgrown the game.

The world gives you two options:

Keep grinding. Push through. You’ve got obligations. Ignore the feeling.

Slow down. Accept that your best years are behind you. Settle in. Fade out.

Both options feel like giving up.

Because they are.

There’s a third option.

What if this chapter isn’t about doing more... or doing less... but about living differently?

What if the second half of your life isn’t a slow fade, but a redirect?

That’s what The Third Act is about.

Not retirement. Not a second career. Not a bucket list.

A decision: I’m going to live the rest of my life on purpose.

I’m BG Hamrick.

44 years of building things. Twenty in ministry. Twenty-four running a digital marketing agency. I spent my life solving problems, taking care of people, doing the work.

Three years ago, I was staring at a spreadsheet that should have made me happy. Revenue up. Agency healthy. By every metric... winning.

But I felt nothing.

That’s when I realized: the scoreboard I’d been using didn’t work anymore.

So I started asking different questions. Building different habits. Learning how to live this chapter on purpose instead of drifting through it.

Now I’m documenting it all... in real time.

What is The Third Act?

It’s a question. What do I do with this part of my life? If you’re asking that, you’re in the right place.

It’s a framework. A way to think about this chapter that actually makes sense. First Act: discovering. Second Act: doing. Third Act: meaning.

It’s tools. The journaling practice that changed how I think. How I use AI to accelerate instead of replace my own thinking. Frameworks for deciding how to spend your time. I share what works... and what doesn’t.

It’s a community. This transition is lonely. Most people our age are grinding like nothing changed or they’ve checked out completely. Finding people who get it? Rare. That’s what we’re building here.

What you get as a subscriber:

Weekly posts on navigating the Third Act... the questions, the tools, the honest truth about what this looks like at our age.

Access to the community of people in the same chapter, figuring it out together

The frameworks and tools I’m using to live with more intention... shared openly as I build them

This isn’t a course. There’s no curriculum. No “6 steps to reinvent yourself.”

It’s a community of people who refuse to fade out... learning how to live forward together.

It’s up to you:

You can keep doing what you’ve always done. Run the same plays. Drift through your Third Act the same way you hustled through your Second.

Or you can choose something different.

Eyes ahead. Intention high. Moving toward something instead of away from what was.

If you’re tired of the old scoreboard...

If you’re done pretending everything’s fine...

If you’re ready to stop looking back and start living forward...

Subscribe to The Third Act.

You’re not broken. You’re waking up.

Let’s figure out what’s next... together.
